Governor Kathleen Blanco Running for Mayor of South Park

Governor Kathleen Blanco of Louisiana's decisions are just getting weirder and weirder. Now she's telling Ray Nagin that her National Guard aren't going to make anyone leave New Orleans unless and until some scientific studies show that the flood waters are polluted. The CDC has already announced that the water is 10x above acceptable levels on e. coli contamination alone, but, hell, that doesn't mean the water is dirty! It's just got a little smudge on it! Just a tiny skid mark! That's nothing. Now drink your water and shut up.

This after she told the Louisiana National Guard not to allow the Red Cross into New Orleans to relive suffering. It's true. Read the words of the Red Cross yourself! Also check out information gleaned from a call made by the San Francisco Bay Area Independent Media Center to the Red Cross to clarify the situation.

Nothing else can explain her criminal negligence and stupidity, so I've come to the conclusion that Governor Kathleen Blanco is running for Mayor of South Park!



(Note: Web sites linked above say "State Homeland Security" wouldn't allow access. This means the National Guard, who are under the Governor's control since she has not declared a State of Emergency or allowed her National Guard to be Federalized. So don't fob it off on FEMA - much as they deserve rich blame. This one was Blanco's doing.)
