NOLA Aquarium Dead - Historic Docs Still in Danger

It was just as I feared - most of the fish in the NOLA Aquarium died. But the hardiest animals, the usual suspects, live on. Alligators, sea otters, sea turtles and birds made it through.

Nice of the Feds to let the keepers back into town. City archivists are trying to get in to save historic documents "such as a letter from Jean Lafitte to Washington demanding payment for his expenditures during the Battle of New Orleans." The Library of Congress has been alerted to the situation and is "working on it."
