Quicksand Doesn't Suck!
News at Nature today gave us all a page to add to our Ready Rescue Ranger Guidebooks. Quicksand can't really suck you under. It can suck you down to your armpits, past the point where "the force required to pull out a foot equals that needed to lift a medium-sized car." But hey, you can breathe!
At least until the tide comes in.
Now, don't you feel a whole lot better?

Yes, I feel a lot better now..I was kinda worried about it as I am heading to the coast for my birthday! At least now I know that I will be safe so long as I have patience and the tide doesn't come in! ;)
