Amazing Geography Lesson
Last night on the Amazing Race, the Weaver family sped across the long bridge over Lake Pontchartrain. (Yes, the same bridge that was destroyed by Katrina. The show was taped much earlier.) The Weaver children marveled at the size of the lake and the length of the bridge. This put mom into school marm mode:
"Yes, Lake Pontchartrain," Weaver mommy said, "One of the five great lakes."
Yep - Superior, Ontario, Heuy, Louie, and Pontchartrain.
Right?

OMG!!! I missed that part...geeze...though I did think it was sad that the family from New Orleans lost there.
