Adam Sandler

I tell ya kids, I hate almost everyting I've ever seen Adam Sandler do, but he just keeps getting work and getting his name out there in the public eye more all the time, so I've come to the conclusion that he must be the Nicest Man In the World.

Seriously - I think this guy has networking down to an art where he charms the crap out of people on a personal basis. This is his only talent . . . I'm convinced.

I liked him in SNL (except for Opera Man -- that was lame) but everything else, yeah, not funny.

Granted, Sandler has made a number of utterly juvenile movies, but you can't overlook his spot-on performance in "Punch Drunk Love." Most neurotypicals absolutely don't get what that film is about, so hear me true when I tell you that it is, absolutely, the best, most honest portrayal of someone with Asperger Autism ever committed to film. Forget Rain Man, forget the daytime scare tactics of people like Dr. Phil and Don Imus, even put down (but don't forget) Mark Haddon's book The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time, and watch this movie. And then, you will know.

Chai: I can't stand him! Although Pep, I will see that movie, since you recommend it. But back to my dislike, Sandler is like the kid down the street, I see him and just want to knock the crap out of him...I just don't like him.
